Learning to crochet!

My first single crochet square. I couldn't sleep because I was too excited to learn how to crochet, so Jake went to sleep. The next morning when he work up, he saw it and came and woke me up telling me how impressed he was! haha... this is the most simple crochet technique and it's pretty simple so I thought it was funny, but he was so cute! I never knew how supportive he was of me... even in the most simple of ways! I love him.

This is called a Granny Square. It's actually an even square, but it looks lopsided because of the angle that I took the picture.

After trying on practically every ring in the store, I found this one and Jake really liked it too! All the next night, he kept holding up my hand and saying, "you know what this means, right? That you're going to be my wife!" He's so darn cute!!
